My Medium Reads and Earnings are Just Crazy
It’s not true that the more reads you have, the more you earn.
Let’s cut to the chase.
I’ve heard from many Medium writers and I’ve read many stories about how you need to write good articles and get as many reads as possible to increase your earnings.
Is that really true? Not really!
From what I can see by analyzing my stats, I’d say that you actually need to write articles that people like, not necessarily articles that are well-written or elaborate.
As far as reads are concerned, I’d say that you shouldn’t chase the number of reads as a holy grail that will make you more money. Because it wont!
How did I come to this conclusion?
Because I have an article that has only 2 reads. Yes, only 2 reads, but this article earned $4.62.
