This is a heartbreaking story. It’s easy to blame the parent, but who would expect something like this?

I’ve just read this story and it just made me wanna write something about it so that it doesn’t happen again.

What happened?

Over the weekend, a heart-wrenching incident unfolded when a 2-year-old girl, identified as Ailahni Sanchez Martinez, was struck and killed by a truck. The vehicle, astonishingly, was under the control of a 3-year-old child at the time of the collision, according to cleveland.com.

The event occurred near a taco stand at the edge of a parking lot, where Ailahni’s family was setting up shop. The truck, left running at a gas pump by its owner, became the unlikely instrument of tragedy when the 3-year-old, initially secured in a car seat, managed to climb into the driver’s seat and inadvertently set the vehicle in motion.
