Do you know anyone who doesn’t want children? Who doesn’t believe reproduction is why we’re here?

I guess there are some among us who suppress their libido or have no desire whatsoever to pass on their genes to the next generation.

Children? Is that why we’re here? What does nature say?

This creature lives solely for reproduction.

Mayfly lives to reproduce. That’s it.

You may think that we are different. We may believe that life is so much more than reproduction. But is it?

There are notable scientists out there who claim that nature doesn’t have any further interest in a human being once they have children. We may enjoy life, pursue a career, and do many other things, but as far as nature is concerned, once we’ve had children, we’re done — we’re no longer needed.

From the nature’s perspective, we’re not much different from mayflies.

Mayfly’s adult stage is solely for reproduction — they don’t even have functional mouths! No other purpose than to reproduce.

These creatures are known for having an incredibly short lifespan. They live as adults only for a few hours to a day. Some species last as little as 30 minutes.
