Grant saw a woman named Silviya Ventsislavova, a Bulgarian woman who had her channel where she offered virtual company.
Grant liked this woman. He liked the way she looked, the way she talked, the attention she was paying to him. Day after day he was coming for more.
By 2019, he was completly infatuated with “Silvie.”
But there was one problem.
Silvie wasn’t spending all that time and effort on MyFreeCams for nothing. Each minute of her virtual company cost tokens. And Grant needed money to pay for those tokens. The problem was Grant was addicted to Silviya, and he needed several hours of her time each day.
5,000 tokens, $600 each day is not easy to pay.
But Grant didn’t care. He loved the woman. He believed, “After all, we all get paid for the work we do, and Silvie is no different.”
He needed Silviya, needed money, and he started using his parents’ and brothers’ money to fund his online relationship.
Over the next few months, Grant spent $200,000 of his family’s money on Silvie.
After finding out about their son’s relationship, his parents were trying to help. They realized that their son had an addiction problem. They blamed the situation on porn addiction. They helped Grant enroll in a rehabilitation program for porn and internet addiction, which cost them $15,000.
