How Writing Always Helps — Even If You Don’t Feel Like It

Every writer is a bit of a loner.

Writers love getting lost in their own thoughts, crafting stories in their minds, and eventually, committing them to paper (or this screen :)), hoping that their writing will help someone.

When you write, do you aim to help the people reading your text? Do you try to make it useful?

Of course, all writers want to provide value, but often, people may feel that your article hasn’t quite addressed what they’re looking for. Most articles don’t really help readers. People may enjoy your writing, but in the end, many walk away without gaining the insights or solutions they really need, leaving them unsatisfied or still searching for answers elsewhere.

It’s also sad that many great articles linger out there with only a few reads.

Why write if your articles don’t help anyone? Why write if nobody reads your articles?

The answer is simple. Because writing helps you.

What you write might not always resonate with others, but it will always benefit you. Writing and refining your skills inevitably make you sharper and more creative.
