Here Are The Countries That Profit The Most From War
These countries are the biggest profiteers of weapon trade.
Let’s face it, weapons have one purpose and one purpose only: to kill people and destroy equipment and infrastructure.
War is misery, sorrow, grief, destruction, death.
Yet, those who sell weapons make enormous amounts of money whenever there is an ongoing war. The more war, the bigger the profit. That’s a simple fact.
So, which countries lead the pack when it comes to making money by selling weapons?
According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), these are the leading sellers of weapons globally (2019–2023).

10. SOUTH KOREA accounts for 2% of global arms exports. The main recipients of South Korean weapons are Poland, Philippines, and India.
9. ISRAEL represents 2.4% of the worldwide total arms trade. The main importers of Israeli arms are India, Philippines, and USA. Keeping in mind that Israel is a small country with a population of just over 9 million, 2.4% is huge.
8. SPAIN, 2.7%. The countries that import Spain’s weapons the most are Saudi Arabia, Australia, Türkiye (Turkey). Hm, I thought Spain was about sea, beaches…
